Our Company values privacy. We will only collect, use, or disclose your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy. In this document, the words “MoneyClip”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, and “our” means MoneyClip Inc. and its subsidiaries. The words “website”, “websites”, “platform”, “our platform”, and “application” means all hardware and software technology, interfaces, and networks that we use to run our business and manage our user experience. The word “blockchain” means the public blockchain, network, and technology developed and supported by the members of Stellar.org. The words “you” and “your” means the individual who is a customer, user, or visitor of or to our platform. The word “mobile device” means the hardware and its installed software that you use to interact with our platform.

Information We Collect and Use

We may collect and receive your information and/or data your generate in various ways:

Data provided directly by you

Some permissions on our platform require we correctly identify you and create unique user accounts. For example, during a registration process we may require you to provide personal identifiable information.

Data you generate using our platform

Consistent with industry practices, our servers automatically collect information when you access or use our platform. This information may include your IP address, the web address leading you to our platform, device information, location information, your language preferences, your blockchain activity, and cookie data.

Data we receive from third parties

As a part of ensuring regulatory compliance we may be required to perform “Know Your Customer” and “Anti Money Laundering” procedures. We may use other personal information to enhance your user experience or to provide support. If we obtain personal information from third parties we will do so only with your prior consent.

Safeguarding and Storing Your Information

Every technological implementation we build into MoneyClip or use for platform maintenance and support is done with the privacy and safety of your information in mind. We believe that safeguarding your information is a joint effort between you and us and we are committed to make every best effort to support you in this effort.

We architect and implement security measures in an effort to protect your information from unauthorized access. The information you generate or we collect on our platform may be stored using multiple technologies including your mobile device, our platform, and the blockchain.

Where information is stored in your mobile device, we urge you to take steps to keep your mobile device safeguarded, including the use of the mobile device’s built in PIN and biometric security features.

Where information is stored in our platform, we implement certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layer technology.

Where information is stored on the blockchain our privacy commitment can be observed in three main ways:

  1. We will not store personal information on the blockchain.
  2. The privacy technologies we build to interface with the blockchain will use implementations approved by the blockchain’s official development team.
  3. We will stay up to date with the blockchain’s privacy and security developments to ensure our platform interface and your information is safe and secure.

We believe it is important that you know the blockchain is a publicly accessible database that stores certain non-personal information. We urge you to obtain a general understanding of this technology and the differences between private and anonymous information on the blockchain. Our commitment to privacy may result in instances where your information is out of our reach.

In some cases information will be intentionally stored in your mobile device and inaccessible to us. Where this occurs we urge you to take steps to keep you mobile device safeguarded (as referenced above). In some cases information is encrypted by you via personal secret password or use of a third party password manager before being stored on our platform. This information is unreadable to us and cannot be recovered without your secret password, which we do not retain. We urge you not disclose this password and to store any secret passwords offline in safeguarded locations.

Location and Retention of Your Information

Data protection and retention laws vary by jurisdiction and we may process and store your information via third party providers who have servers in various jurisdictions. We will retain and physically store your information, as is legislatively required, on a country by country basis.

Ensuring the Accuracy of Your Information

We will ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is required for the purposes we use it. While we will do our best to base decisions with personal information as accurate as is practical, we rely on you and third parties to provide information and inform us of any relevant changes. We will make reasonable efforts to keep your information accurate and up-to-date upon receipt of appropriate evidence. Information We Share

Use of our platform may involve interaction with other MoneyClip users where, during certain interactions (ex: you use MoneyClip to pay a retailer for goods or services you consume), your information may be shared. We will only share your personal information with your direct, specific, and prior consent. Unless required by law, we will only share your personal information with other users who you directly interact with. We will not sell, trade, or rent your information to any third parties.

Your Choice

In most cases, you will be empowered to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or sharing of you personal information at any time by contacting us. Due to certain regulation and legislation your withdrawal cannot be retroactive. It will be applied on a going forward basis.

Where we send you marketing or promotional communication we will provide you the ability to op out of further like-communication. We will also provide opt out indicators in certain settings modules in our platform. Please note that, notwithstanding your indication for promotional preferences, we may continue to send you administrative, security, or privacy communications.

Our Ongoing Commitment to Privacy

Measuring our compliance with this Policy is part of our internal procedures for privacy and security processes and controls. We may conduct periodic reviews within our programs and services where any changes to this Policy will be updates and communicated to you in a timely manner. We may add, modify, or remove portions of this Policy when we feel it is appropriate to do so.
